A new project we can look forward to: Kyle plays Colson in the independent noir thriller "Dark Hearts". His co-stars are Sonja Kinski, Lucas Till, Rachel Blanchard and Juliet Landau.

Kyle's new projects:
Kyle tells us on his Facebook page that he will play "Captain normal" in Syfy's new pilot "Three Inches". The network has ordered the 90-minute pilot, "Three Inches," from Fox Television Studios, writer Harley Peyton ("Twin Peaks") and executive producer Bob Cooper. It centers on an underachiever who gains the power to move any object using his mind, but only for a distance of three inches. He recruits a team of fellow heroes, each with their own less-than-spectacular abilities.

There's a new site on Facebook called: Kyle Schmid should star as D'Artagnan in the new Three Musketeers Movie
The goal is to create a buzz which will make the studios take a look at Kyle. We need each one of you to help to tweet, post on other facebook pages... (with the exception of Kyle's for the moment), any and all other Kyle Schmid fan sites, Henry Fitzroy fan sites, and Blood Ties fan sites on the web to ask them to come back to this site and leave a comment. If we can all work together on this we can show the studios that Kyle would be a perfect fit for this role.
Wouldn't it be nice to see Kyle as a musketeer? So have a look and leave a comment.

The "Love Cures Cancer" charity organization (Kyle is a founding member) is planning another great event in Los Angeles. All proceeds will be donated to the Childrens Hospital Los Angeles for cancer research and improving the daily experience of kids in treatment there. On behalf of the LCC charity, Kyle often supports the sick children in the hospital with toys. Just recently, in the beginning of January, Kyle brought new Nintendo Mobile Starlight Wii to the children.
Many of the European fans like me surely wish we would live closer to L.A., to attend the event. People who live close enough seize the opportunity, go there and have fun.

Great news!I got the information that Kyle will be again a starguest at Ring*con 2010 in Bonn. Further announced is Dylan Neal, who plays his colleague and rival Mike Celluci in the Blood Ties series. Ring*con 2010 will take place from 15 til 17 October 2010.

Interesting news: Additional to the regular Ring*Con 2009 DVD a Twighlight and Blood Ties Special DVD are planned. The Blood Ties Dvd will contain both of Kyle's panels in full length (no subtitles). Estimated cost: Euro 9,90 plus shipping.
The Twighlight DVD will be around Euro 14,90 Euro and will show all of the Twighlight panels.
The realization of the two DVDs, however, depends on the interest. FedCon GmbH and Intexsound (the producer of the DVD) need your feedback now. Would you buy one of this special DVDs ? Release date would be at the same time as the regular Ring*Con 2009 DVD, in spring 2010. If you are interested you have the following options:

When they arrive, the students discover the research station abandoned and they discover that a deadly prehistoric parasite, dormant inside the mammoth for thousands of years, has been released!

No good news: Yesterday afternoon I got the confirmation that unfortunately Frightcon is cancelled.
The good news is that Kyle will come to the Ringcon in Bonn from 2nd to 4th October 2009.
I won't be able to go to the Ringcon, but I hope that many other fans take the opportunity and meet Kyle at the Ringcon.

On April 15 the Love Cures Cancer charity event benefiting children with cancer took place in Los Angeles. Love Cures Cancer is a passionate charity working to finding a cure for cancer. The event was star studded with celebrities showing their support for the cause and among them was Kyle, who is one of the founding members of the organisation.
Illuminate Collective, who was one of the event planners for the night, provided me with some pictures of Kyle. Now how do you like Kyle in a suit and with a shorter hair cut? Among other things they had an auction at the event and one of the most bidding items was a Wilson volleyball signed by Tom Hanks. How about some information of one of Kyle's older movies for a change? The Disney movie "Cheetah girls" has been released in the year 2003 and was produced by Whitney Houston. The director Oz Scott was nominated by the Directors Guild of America Awards for: Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Children's Programs.
The movie is all about four teenage girlfriends, who form a girl group called "Cheetah girls" - hoping to become famous one day and make it to popmusic stardom. As the girls are gearing up to rehearse for the school talent competition, they're discovered by a famous record producer....
Kyle plays Derek in a supporting role and you can see him sing and even play E-guitar.

Kyle supports this charity and is even a founding member. The goal for 2009 is to fundraise $250,000 - 500,000 dollars for cancer charity for children. As Kyle said so well in his Valentines video clip:
"Together we can make a difference..."
What he meant is to make a difference in the fight against cancer by teaming up.

Feb.21, 2009 - restructuring
The coding of my website is currently being restructured and renewed by Diana aka Foxy. Thanks to her help you can now (among other things) switch between the languages (on the top right hand corner of the homepage you will find the new language buttons) and my galleries will be in a newer updated format, where you can go from picture to picture (by simply scrolling the mouse over the picture you will see the buttons to use). Opening 9th January 2009
The well-known Kyleschmidcentral.com was launched on Kyle’s 23rd birthday in August 2007. Since I didn't want to wait until August I decided to launch the new page as my very own birthday present to myself on January the 9th.
I couldn’t do all the translation stuff by myself so a big thank you to my "helping-angels" concering translations.
